No me funciona el Wifi en Ubuntu 11.10 ¿Qué puedo hacer?

Buenas tardes.
Fijese que ayer actualice mi software del 10.10 al 11.04 y del 11.04 al 11.10 pero cuando se estaba instalando el 11.10 se apago el WIFI y ya no volvió a funcionar. ¿Que puedo hacer en este caso?
He probado un montón de cosas y no me funciona ! :|

palichis 		Mau, dano la respuesta del comando
lspci |grep -i wireless
para ver que tarjeta tienes. es posibre que solo haga falta reinstalar el controlador de la wifi

El_Java 		Yo tengo el Ubuntu 11.10 y me va de lujo.
Prueba a desinstalar el Network Manager e instalarte el Wicd Network Manager, he leido de gente que se le ha arreglado así.
Si no te funciona y quieres volver solo tienes que hacer el paso contrario.

Yo tengo un Asus eee 1005P (bastante antiguo) con Ubuntu 11.10, y el wifi con Network Manager me iba fatal, se me desconectaba cada poco tiempo, así que desinstale e instalé Wicd y me funciona perfectamente :)
