¿QUIEN SABE DE LINUX.....AUXILIOOOO!!!!!!?

hace poco en mi makina con xp hice una particion de "UBUNTU" de LINUX la cuestion es q tengo internet por medio de un adaptador wifi usb (ZONET 2552) y la custion es q nisikiera me lo reconoce y en la opcion de controladores de hardware me dice q no estan disponibles que hagooo... ?????? COMO INSTALO EL CONTROLADOR SI NISIKIERA ME RECONOCE EL HARDWARE????

caligulaelsanto 		es muy probable que mediante otra opción funciones
en principio abri la consola

sudo lsusb

con el dispositivo enchufado dame la id del mismo
nombre y modelo ademas deberías poner exacto para saber que es y el chisep que usa

creo ke tienes otra opcion para instalar UBUNTU junto con XP y es instalar una makina virtual por elem, VMware VMware despues de instalar tu maquina virtual puedes intalar UBUNTU en esta como lo hiciste en tu makina fisica y de esta forma tu nuevo sistema toma la configuracion y
del hardware de la maquina host . haz la prueba y tal vez te funcione suerte

Amigo, desafortunadamente no todos los dispositivos de internet USB son compatibles con nuestro sistema. Eso no es culpa de Ubuntu o de GNU/Linux, sino de los fabricantes de dicho hardware que no les interesa crear controladores para nuestro querido sistema. Te recomiendo probar con otro modem usb, los de marca huawei funcionan bien. Y por su puesto, enviar un correo de reclamos a ZONET exigiendo que desarrollen controladores para GNU/Linux.
